Stressed to Strong

Show me a woman that isn’t stressed, and I’ll show you a woman that is lying to you.

Ok, ok, some women are better at managing stress than others, but this is an issue so many of my clients (and myself) deal with. Career stress, mom stress, corona stress, it’s been a crazy year.

It’s no coincidence the women who join JFJ Method are bad asses. The fact that they have taken their health and fitness goals into their own hands and invested in themself shows you that alone. They aren’t settling for mediocre in life and with that comes stress we often are placing on ourselves.

We as women love to try and do it all.

The issue we run into though, is our fitness journey will never stand a chance if our body is in a constant state of despair from stress. Our body doesn’t care about shedding fat, when what it really needs is to calm the F down.

As we go after that next promotion our health falls by the wayside: skipping lunch so we aren’t away from our desk, working late hours and ordering Chinese food, having a few too many glasses of wine to deal with the workload.

Personally right now, I’m going through the stress as well. I’m launching my own business. I’ve done a complete 180 from my previous career. It’s terrifying and exciting at the same time.

This is why for the next 90 days, I’m committed to sharing my journey from Stressed to Strong.

I’m going to show you how I balance career with fitness.

I’m sure you’re thinking “oh you’re your own boss, that’s easy.” It’s actually the opposite for me. I never shut off. When your living room is also your office, how do you ever truly leave work.

I’m committing to growing my business 5x while sharing my stress free meals, daily habits to reduce stress, and powerful workouts to continue to gain strength.

I’m going to prove to you that you can fit in your career along with your physical goals.

Fitness not only changes your body, it changes your mindset with it.
